Finally I've made it. The whole time before chirstmas i was thinking of making some christmas cookies, but i haven't had the time and some other 'more important' matters interfered.
But now i made the first of bunch of cookies. The name of the cookies could be roughly translated into english as 'Almond-Apricot-Slices'. Here is the receipe for the cookies:
Ingredients for the dough:
- 250g flour
- 1 teaspoon backing powder
- 140g sugar
- 1 tip salt
- 5 yellow of egg
- 120g butter
Ingredients for the covering:
- 1 glas apricot jam
- 5 white of egg
- 200g sugar
- 150g grond almonds
- 50g chop almonds
To create the dough you simply mix all the ingredients and put the dough in the frigerator for about 30 minutes. For the covering you create a beaten egg white and aftwards put the sugar and the grond almonds into it. Now you roll the dough out on a baking sheet and put the apricot jam on top of it. Now put the covering on top of the apricot jam and disperse the chop almonds.
Backing time: 25 minutes at about 200 degree celsius
Enjoy it!
Feedback for amarok alarm 1.0

The amarok alarm script version 1.0 hasn't been much of a success when you concider the votes on kde-apps.org and the number of downloads. At the moment the votes is at 44% and 37 downloads from kde-apps.org. The download counter on our homepage tells us that the script was downloaded 444 times. A bit more but definitly not what i was hoping for.
If you like or dislike the script, feel free to leave a comment either on this site or on kde-apps.org. This way I could improve the script and maybe also add some of the much needed features you are looking for.
At the moment I'm in the middle of investigating the way how to port the script to amarok 2.0. The features i currently have in mind for the next version are:
- Status Widget
displays the current status of the script; next alarm time, time until sleep is complete, etc
- dialog for configuring the basic stuff
This way it would be much easier for newbies to use the script.
- Better system integration; add an easy way to configure your system to use wake on LAN
- More fine tuning
I do not intend to add an option to configure the alarms itself, since i want to leave this job to the more suitable applications like KOrganizer.
